In October, the company held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new offices in Elkridge, having completed its move from much smaller digs in Curtis Bay. After months of multi-tasking between wine festivals, redesigning our logo and imagining what to create for our new website, we finally unveiled the new design on Monday. As you know from my last writing, as of March 13, 2011, we have gone 100% wind power, which is part of our sustainability goal for our winery. What you might not know is that on April 16, 2011 at about 8pm, we were hit by a F-1 tornado which gave us a lot of natural lighting by removing roofing from the processing room, tank room and the building we store the grape harvester, tractors, and festival equipment and supplies.
