Linganore Winecellars Recognized for Community Support

Mt Airy, MD, September 2013- Linganore Winecellars was recognized by the Frederick County Commissioners for their contributions to the economic vitality to Frederick county and for their community support.

This year, Linganore has hosted events onsite to benefit The Red Cross of Frederick County, The United Way of Frederick County and the MS Society of Maryland, donating $750 to each of these organizations. As part of their commitment to the community, Linganore has been donating wine tastings, festival tickets and the use of their property to benefit non-profit organizations, including the Humane Society of Frederick County, Share our Strength, the Patty Pollatos Fund and North Chesapeake Sheltie Rescue. In 2012, Linganore was able to donate over $8,000 to the Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins.
